UPDATE ONE: The Fortnite Glow Skin is available to download again following technical issues on launch day.
"We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with the redemption of the GLOW outfit due to an extremely high volume of server requests. We apologise for the inconvenience and will post an update when it becomes available again," a message from Samsung explains.
The same rules apply to when adding the Glow Skin to your account, including what Samsung devices can be used. More information on the process can be found below.
ORIGINAL: Having ended the iKONIK skin promotion, fans are now able to claim the Fortnite Glow Skin for their in-game collection.
It won't provide any kind of advantage as it is just cosmetic in nature, but by looking at what's trending today on Google, there's a lot of interest in grabbing the new bundle. As ever, there are rules to how you can claim your own Fortnite Glow Skin from Samsung, and it doesn't look like everyone will be eligible.
The good news is that while the iKONIC skin was limited to those Fortnite gamers who bought the most recent Samsung Galaxy phone, the same rules are not in place for the Glow skin.
HOW TO GET THE GLOW SKIN IN FORTNITE
The Fortnite Glow Skin has been launched as the latest promotional item between Epic Games and Samsung.
As such, you will need a qualifying Samsung device to have a chance at getting hold of the bundle.
The good news is that there are many qualifying devices that can be used, making it the most accessible Samsung Fornite skin yet, and comes as a bonus on these devices:
"To qualify, you must have purchased a Samsung Galaxy Note10, Note10+ or Note10+ 5G, S10e, S10, S10+ or S10 5G, Note9, S9, S9+, Note8, S8, S8+ or S8 Active, S7, S7 edge or S7 Active, Tab S6, Tab S4, Tab S3 or Tab S3 Wi-Fi, A9, A70, A80 or A90," a message from Samsung reads.
"Eligible device must have all current Samsung software updates downloaded and installed from the settings menu.
"Install the Fortnite game on your Qualifying Purchase and follow the instructions in the Fortnite Store to receive the exclusive Fortnite GLOW outfit and Levitate emote."
Also mentioned in this advice is the end date for the new Fortnite promotion, which luckily, is running for some time.
All of the above steps must be completed by 12/31/19 at 11:59pm ET, or you will forfeit your right to receive the gift.
Below is the guide on how to grab the Fortnite Glow skin from Samsung, and comes courtesy of the phone maker:
1. Download and launch Fortnite from the Galaxy Store or Galaxy Game Launcher on your qualifying Samsung Galaxy device.
2. Sign in to your Epic Games account or sign up for a new Epic Games account.
